Newborn Scarlett ~ Birmingham Newborn Lifestyle Photographer

first set ^

The first set of photos were taken when my daughter was 3 weeks, and the second set was taken when she was 7 weeks old. I enjoyed taking these pictures so much. She did great for both sessions, and I can't wait to get them into her room and in frames!

I hope you enjoyed them! I wanted something simple, classic, and non-pinterest(y) . I can't wait to get these in frames and in her room! Also, if you are in the Birmingham area and need any photos, I'd love to capture you and/or your family! I am still trying to balance staying at home with a newborn, but am slowly getting back into scheduling some sessions here. You can like my facebook page or visit my photography blog. Thank you for all of your support :)

Beautiful Family Session ~ Birmingham, AL Lifestyle Family Photographer

I photographed this session back in March, and wanted to post these on the blog in addition to my facebook fan page. I really enjoyed taking these pictures of this beautiful family. Capturing the love they had for their son was really special. Enjoy these photos!

Welcome :)

Hi there,

Welcome welcome! I am so excited to have made so much progress here on the blog. Within the next couple of weeks I'll be doing some more things around here to spruce things up, but am just very happy to know I have something set up for people to come to.

My photography has been kept on the down low lately for several reasons. Mainly it was due to the fact that in the summer of 2011 I got married and made a big move from Louisiana to Birmingham, Alabama. My photography was at a standstill for a very long time. Late in 2012, I got an unexpected surprise that my husband and I were going to be expanding our family. We are expecting our first baby (a girl) in April 2013. I've been adjusting to pregnancy and doing well, but again my photography was put on the back burner.

Feeling motivated more than ever, I've decided to finally take the big leap in getting things all set up again. Within the next couple of months, I should have an official website, an official brand, and will be attending workshops (hopefully all before baby comes) to better my photographing skills. As soon as I get my business branded then I can move forward in a direction that will open up opportunities to make connections and more ties to the community in getting my business out there. That has been probably the biggest struggle. Moving from a place I lived my entire life with all the connections I needed to have to start from scratch was and still is a big adjustment.

Thank you all who have supported me in this journey, I am so blessed to have people in my life who believe in my passion and trust in me to take their photos. I look forward to sharing this new development with all of you.

Truly,
Britt
